Explore the area on nighttime walks that bring its stories to life.

About the Watchtower

Built in 1951 during the Korean War, the watchtower protected Boryeong Police Station. Its siren later became a familiar sound in the town, announcing the time, curfews and emergencies. The 2026 festival theme draws on these memories of light, sound and the city at night.
